With And means to walk towards the struggles and hardships facing so many outside of our safe communities. As an individual human, And alone has lived under much privilege, and yet not felt much power to cause meaningful change, individually.

You With And creates new opportunity for people to come together, bring our unique gifts, talents, and resources, and put those towards encouraging and supporting justice and survival for countless communities in need.

Will you seek out love for our neighbors, together With And?

The journey of the Spirit has taken And from the flock to the wilderness and back again over many seasons. There are volumes of folly and wisdom hidden within the sealed scrolls and foolish paths to follow Jesus, imperfectly.

In all journeys of faith, particularly children of Abraham, there is shared understanding to nourish us in our common and unique stories.

And across all spiritual communities, wherever the narrative is deep, consistent and meaningful, With And you will find respect and humility that the Great Creator speaks many languages.

Perhaps there is a story of faith worthy of putting our hearts and lives out there for our neighbors. Are there Sacred Windows With And we can open together?

Action! Not every narrative tells of what already happened. Some stories play out in real time right in front of your eyes. If you’re paying attention.

Everywhere lines being drawn. Only they were drew long ago, invisible boundaries and barricades to keep the wrong folks out, and right folks in.

Our tribes and fiefdoms are almost always ready to boil over into the streets, as progress crawls along through legislation and representation.

Social Justice is work, harder than most any of us can handle or understand. Organizing and moving against those who wish to silence, harass, harm, hurt and handcuff you is a lifetime commitment that costs everything.

It’s more than a story, it’s an imperative. It’s your life. For those who are awake to this injustice, how do we transcend social media, distracted apathy, and legit fear and dissociation from the scale of the problem — into MEANINGFUL ACTION?

With And is to change hearts and direction. Influenced by the ways of pacifist progressive nonconformist radicals, by Mennonite contentious objector peacemaking, by counter-cultural revolutionaries, by spiritual and moral trailblazers, by Jesus, by God, by people, by our times.

Wrap that into And’s old career in advertising & propaganda. Could these be Spirit-breathed experiences and tools be reimagined and worked into the cause of good trouble for the liberation of all people?

You can’t spell activism without TV.

To be an outsider is not the same as to be an outcast. Living on the margins is the realest of existence, and a way in the world most of us hope never to know.

We try not to look at the people on the streets, living in the woods, struggling to survive day after day. Do we have any understanding of their stories? Do we have any hope of helping them or even ourselves?

Storytelling, marketing, and advertising seem so empty in comparison to living under Maslow’s needs. Not just reading about them on a PowerPoint. So without shame or burying our heads, how can we unite our creativity and resources to develop and produce positive change in the lives of the marginalized?

What private and public interests can come together for the good of a shared narrative, to make a real and lasting impact in the community?

It has to start somewhere. It has to start sometime. What better place than here? What better time than now?”

What distinguishes Queer People, is that we are the vanguard for the age of authenticity. Sheltered and abused in closets and caves. Some literal ,some mental constructs, but the damage is total. It takes a relentless will to survive and the courage to go against the grain, to transform pain into pride.

On the journey of self discovery With And, there is a center of clarity. Where it is possible to see every character and creature as diversely unique in all of Creation. Humans have a superpower to question our identity, the most existential of riddles, “Who am I?”. “Why am I here, like this?”.

Everyone who has come out, or had to stay in, anyone who’s finding their voice and letting the safe one’s in, has a story to tell. First to themselves, and then to those who really need to hear it. Do you know who you are? Do you know how to tell your story, so that you shine your light on others?

It took several lifetimes for And to call herself an Artist. It wasn’t until Jungian archetypes and deep personal work revealed a core programming to always be creating. Artists have a different rhythm and frequency, that reflects the environment and the times in which we live. We have eyes to see and ears to hear the universal truths and lies that we tell ourselves, and how we are living in our most or least authentic selves.

However, Artists can rarely do this for themselves. Our own stories are murky and complex, drawing muse and inspiration yet little clarity of structure and meaning. We don’t know what’s interesting about us to others, because we are interested in something deeper that perception, true understanding and connection.

As an Artist, you may not realize that your story and your work is already in place. So clear to another Artist with eyes to see. It often takes a mirror, tilted ever so slightly to reflect the most desirable image. With And, you may be able to share your story in the most authentic, and flattering, of voices,

The written word, the recorded voice, the immortalized image, the cinema of connection, the sensational stage, and otherworldly oddities … are the how, the what, when and where of your artform.

All are useful formats, tools, and techniques to achieve a completed work an audience to experience, critique, and ignore.

The WHY is what makes you the Storyteller, and the only one who truly sees the vision of this artistic future.

But are you struggling with when it will come to pass? Are aspects of narrative failing you, or have slipped out of alignment?

Capitalism expects us to keeping growing and earning bigger and bigger profits for the sake of progress. A non-profit sees progress on the human scale, and considers the return on investment to be the changing and saving of lives.

With And believes in the power of the shared story and emotional experience to connect the people, passion to the resources and awareness-building content non-profits need to sustain their work. The foundations of our society are built upon the past. From innovative ideas come sustainable institutions, who foster the growth and change of our culture.

These are stories we need to share and remember, learning that established and the world-changer must find commonalities in their stories and purposes.

We need the legacy systems to stay engaged and active in the transformation of the future. These are actions and stories of extraordinary achievements yet waiting to be told.

Every stage of life is learning. We only know what we know, and we believe we understand more than we do.

Failure is a great teacher, especially when too much success leads to deep disappointment.

For students in need of a teacher or tutor, With And is not a class or a school. To seek guidance and wisdom from And is to be a wide-eyed pupil of life on a field trip into the unknown parts of yourself.

Like a familiar straight-jacket pressed and ready for the after party, With And might hop aboard, if the mission of the client - agency - production company is headed in a honest direction.

There’s so much creativity, collaboration, camaraderie at play that it’s sometimes possible to overlook the unbridled capitalism and client changes.

In seriousness, With And is an attempt to get back to the human side of marketing. You have something to share, to sell, to serve, and there are others out there who want or even need it.

How can we build that authentic connection with audiences, where transactional becomes real and relational? Where artificial becomes artful and authentic?

With And is a belief that creative business can be good for all.

Once upon a time there were only small businesses. There was no need for the big ones, because the smalls all took care of one another, and their communities and families.

Could this be the way again? We can hope. And we can work to promote and encourage the growth and sustainability of more small businesses, who don’t need to go big or go home.
