2023 Director’s Past Life for Shizzle Reel

Every frame is not a Rembrandt. But all of these were directed by the same artist, working for many years inside the corporate client creative collaborative centrifuge. No one shot was made in a vacuum, or done alone. But the hierarchy of a set allows a cinefile enfant terrible to feel like an auteur every once in a while. That young human always loved the craft of cinematic storytelling, and jumped at every chance to block and belabor the action.

Light moves and we capture it. Locking in a feeling and spirit that transcends content and time. What we see between the shadows, when people get a spotlight to shine, awakens something emotional in our mind.
